Jarod Thompson
Senior 2003
Only Jarod would want his
three "girls" in his senior
pictures too.
Lori gave me this picture from Jarod's senior picture packet.
Good looking guy and three good looking heifers.
Ft Worth 2002
Jarod is one of those showmen who has to get everything just right. He was working very hard showing his heifer. His young lady seems to likes being in the show ring and strutting her stuff. I am glad I was able to get your picture.
Sun. 11/4/01 update--Jarod called early this Sunday morning to report he participated in the Van Zandt county show yesterday and his young heifer was Reserve Grand Champion. Congratulations.
Jarod arrived Saturday morning all smiles to pick up his new show calf and report his football team had won their season opener the night before. He has his hands full with this new calf and defense too.
Good luck with both!
Aug. 11, 2001 I guess Jarod didn't realize is was over 100 degrees outside today. He had to looks and show his Aunt Rue all the cows. For a "city boy" Jarod really loves the country and the cattle.
Jarod's newly selected heifer is really growing. With the short grass and hot weather she will be weaned and ready to go to her new home shortly.
After several visits Jarod got his Ag teacher, Mike Scheu, to come look over all the show heifer prospects. Jarod had been anticipating Mr. Scheu's visit to confirm his choice.
Billy Dan drove Mike and Jarod around.
They really liked the young herd sire out with the 2 year old heifers and first calf cows
Jarod and his parents Mark and Lori made a Sunday afternoon visit
to check out the new spring show calves. Jarod was busy
making videos of the prospects to show his Ag teacher.
Billy Dan drove Mark and Jarod around so he could get good pictures of all the prospects.
Jarod is a student at South Garland High School. He has been showing a Lindley Brahman heifer and is back looking for a "new" calf. THANK YOU!
Jarod Thom
pson and his mother Lori visited Saturday afternoon.
Jarod has picked a new heifer to be delivered at weaning and the people family likes to keep an eye on her progress.
His new little girl, right, is not quite sure what all
the fuss is about. But Jarod loves all the cattle.
April 29,2001 Update---Jarod Thompson
Jarod and his parents visited Sunday
afternoon. He brought this picture taken Saturday, April 28, 2001. Jarod and his heifer BDL Ms Suva Crata 80 were named GRAND CHAMPION at the Mineola FFA livestock show.
CONGRATULATIONS!!

The Thompson's came to pick up a new show calf and introduced the oldest son, Jason, home for the summer from Eastern Illinois University. We think he is more interested in soccer than cattle. Hopefully, being home for the summer, we will make a "cow man" out of him.
Jarod shows his Mother and brother, Jason, the heifers he has on eye on.
Jarod and the Lindley's helper, Kris Pace, load a new calf in the trailer for the ride home.
Jarod's Mom Lori sent me this picture of the heifer he has selected. The shot was made by Jarod during one of his visits. Now he is waiting for Billy Dan to get her weaned and branded, then off she goes to her new home. She's a dandy.
Good Luck in the Show ring!
