Dee, Missy and Sloan Morris were by Saturday afternoon April 24 with pictures of their first calf crop.
Dee purchased a good set of
bred heifers and the BL 457 bull last year.

McKenzie rode all the way from Oklahoma with Dee to pick up some new heifers. Looks like a good dog to me.

Dee and Missy Morris were here to selected more heifers to go with last years purchase.
Dee liked this young bull, it will be a year or so before his new heifers calves are ready for a second bull.

The Morris's came to look at the cattle thinking they might like to have a few Brahman cattle. They left purchasing all 14 of Billy Dan's coming 2 year old keeper heifers and his BDL 457 bull. This will be an outstanding start in the Brahman business for this young couple. They may not realize they just acquired 35 years of selective breeding of outstanding cattle in one trip.
Dr. Bill Sanders and Jaurte Martinz were visitors the day before Dee picked up his heifers. All the heifers are half sisters from our JDH Brimhall Manso bull and bred to the BDL 457 bull. You would have to drive many a mile to find heifers like these.
Dee had a trailer load going back to Oklahoma. I called that night to check on everyone. They made the trip just fine and the cattle were adjusting to their new home.
